8,400 sq. ft. addition and 2,500 sq. ft. renovation bringing total number of beds from 17 to 33 allowing the Owner to double its infant delivery rate. The project adds a Level II NICU, 3 new LDRP rooms (bringing the total to 9), 2 Antepartum Rooms, 6 Postpartum Rooms, a covered drop-off area for the hospital’s emergency room and a connecting walkway that features community art. The Level II NICU allows treatment of more premature babies in-house. The project was originally scheduled to be completed in January 2013 but construction was completed one month early allowing the Owner occupy the space by December 2012.
