300 Bed addition and expansion providing state-of-the-art beds, support functions and ambulatory care departments for the Olin E. Teague Veterans Center. The facility accommodates 192 medical beds, 90 psychiatric beds, and 18 bed CMICU, library and Chapel as well as departments for medical media production and audio/speech pathology. The hospital design incorporates “L” shaped nursing units for excellent staff visibility and control, with “angled” beds in patient rooms for maximum patient privacy and visibility.
